PECNOC
For their Kernel Panic performance PECNOC will deliver a combination of their earlier soundscape work and the more dancefloor orientated sounds they focused on for the last year. As always their show will be about improvisation and the musical interaction that arises on the moment. Layered synthesiser lines, samples and hypnotic rhythms and beats will provide something for your mind and something for your body.

Yukari Sawaki
She played classical piano from age 3, studied Sonic Culture Design and Sonology but she's also influenced by bands like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails. And it all results in these impressive fine and carefully crafted electronic beats. Don't miss it.

Mouches Volantes
Kernel Panic is organized by Mouches Volantes. So obviously they like to play a little set themselves too. Mouches Volantes are Thijs Geritz and Wouter Blok, two graphic designers that venture out into the world of sound. They have a hard time choosing between their relaxing drones, disturbing soundscapes and danceable beats. So they throw it all together. It makes their music hard to describe but always interesting.

iPennies
iPennies completely focused on electronic music, some years ago, after the demise of post/noise rock band Soft Posh. His music is a complex mixture of constantly evolving beats and textures. Harsh yet atmospheric, noisy yet melodic. He is now to be found in the depths of avant-garde electronics; exploring the boundaries, challenging himself, his software and the listener in search of new possibilities and sounds.
